First Classes in New Space

We have had three incredible classes in our brand new facility. We are so excited by the positive turnout and how much the kids continue to enjoy the classes. Everyone seems to really love the new space too! Each time a class is over, one of us says to the other, “Wow, that was awesome! What a great group of kids!!!” We feel so lucky and excited about The Foundry!

Our first class in the space was one of our most popular classes, Brush Bot. The kids build the robot themselves and we teach them about circuits, motors and vibration. The second class was for our youngest robot fans. We build a 16″ tall robot that comes with an awesome storybook. We also learn about circuits and the kids create their own customized robot jewelry and keychains. The third class was for 10-11 year olds where we taught soldering. It was a blast! Each child learned and practiced soldering by creating a blinking LED robot pin. Then each student built their very own robot from scratch. Awesome!
